The Montana Logging Association
(MLA) was incorporated in 1976 as a non-profit organization
to provide a united voice for the family-owned businesses that harvest
and transport logs from forest to mill in Montana.
Today, the MLA
has in excess of 500 members who individually and collectively strive
to promote and advance the logging profession.
From the time of our inception,
the MLA has engaged in legislative affairs and enacted
programs relative to safety services, professional accreditation,
forest stewardship, and member-benefits.
This
website is designed to continue our commitment to professionalism.
We welcome feedback from all who explore this site.
